Arrive Cochin. Assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel
(checkin & checkout time 12 noon)
Rest of the day at leisure until it is time to leave for
an evening visit to witness Kathakali show at a local theatre.

After breakfast, city sightseeing of Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St Francis
Church and the Chinese fishing nets.
Afternoon – free for personal activities (vehicle at disposal)
Suggest to take an optional cruise through Cochin harbour, to start around 5.30 pm to enjoy Sun-set.

Guruvayur-Cheruthuruthy |
After breakfast, leave for Guruvayur – approx. 110 kms. Arrive and proceed to
Elephant Camp,Punnathur Kotta, managed by Guruvayur Temple. At any given time, we could watch a good
number Of elephants , say 50 plus at this Camp.
Thereafter visit Sree Krishna Temple nearby (non-Hundus
not allowed inside Temple premises. It is still worth the visit to the outside areas, including
(if open that day) a visit to Mural Painting Instititute.
Later proceed to Cheruthuruthy.

Munnar |
After breakfast, proceed to Kerala Kalamandalam – world renowned training centre for
various artforms of Kerala. We shall visit this Institution (bet 0930 and 1200 hrs.) with special permission.
Thereafter leave for Munnar - approx. 190 kms; 4 to 5 hrs.

Early morning, proceed to visit Eravikulam National Park To watch wildlife.
Return to hotel at your convenience, for overnight stay.

Thekkady |
After breakfast, leave for Periyar National Park (Thekkady )( approx. 120 kms 4 hrs)
Arrive and checkin at hotel
Afternoon game viewing by boat on Lake Periyar You will be
taking the boat which departs at 1600hrs. with other tourists on board.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay

After early breakfast, leave for a trekking tour (guided) through the forest (bet 7 & 10 am)
Return to hotel for rest.
Later, around 11.30 hrs, leave on a Plantation tour.
After lunch, around 1400 hrs. Visit the site where you will enjoy watching normal activities of an
Elephant (feeding, giving bath, elephant ride (30 minuts) etc.) The duration of this visit would be 2 and
a half hours.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave for Kumarakom – apaprox 120 kms, 4 hours.
Arrive and checkin at the hotel with lake view.
Rest of the day enjoy the atmosphere.

Backwaters-Houseboat |
Early morning, proceed to the nearby Bird Life Sanctuary (Optional). Breakfast at the Resort
Rest of the forenoon at leisure.
Check-out and proceed to Alleppey to board House Boat (Kettuvallam)
for day cruising and night-stay. (check-in 1230 hrs. and checkout 0930 hrs.). Airconditioning in the bed room
only and switched on during night-sleeping hours. All meals starting with lunch provided on board
the boat. Usual cruise will start after lunch and end around sunset time to allow Fishermen to spread
their nets.

Kovalam |
After breakfast, enjoing another eventful cruise through the lake, until it is time to disembark
around 0930 hrs.
Drive towards Trivandrum – approx. 150 kms – 3 hrs.
Arrive Trivandrum, and
proceed on a tour of the city, including visit to Napier Museum, Sree Padmanabha Temple, etc.
Thereafter, leave for Kovalam to stay overnight

After breakfast, leave for Kanyakumari – 90 kms away. – the Southern Tip of India.
On your way up, you will visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, and Sucheendram – two most beautiful places
you will enjoy visiting.
On arrival, at Kanyakumari, take a motor boat to visit the Vivekananda Rock
Memmorial.
Spend rest of the time visiting temples and then watch sun-set.
Thereafter return to
Kovalam for overnight stay
