Arrive Calicut. Meet / assist and transfer to Kannur (approx. 120 kms from
airport. Kannur or Cannanore is known to be a great Emporia of spice trade. St. Angelo Fort
built by the Portuguese is an important attraction for the visitors.
On your arrival, checkin at hotel
Evening, drive down to Parassinikadavu, approx. 20 kms from the town, famous
for Sree Muthappan Temple. Theyyam, a ritual art form of dance is performed
almost daily.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Leave for Sulthan Bathery or Vythiri (approx. 140 kms) – as per your choice of
place to stay.
Arrive and proceed to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Early morning, proceed to visit Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, and later visit
Edakkal Caves (here a short trekking is to be done to reach the Hills), Kuruvadweep,
Thirunelli Temple etc.

After breakfast, leave for Calicut – approx. 100 kms (from Sulthan Bathery) – the
drive would be through the high range areas.
Arrive and proceed to your hotel
Afternoon - visiting Boat (Uru) Building Yard in Beypore. These Urus are made
Here for Arabian markets mostly. Also visit, Tribal Museum, and Kappad Beach.
watching sun-set from here would be worth the time spent.

Calicut-Guruvayur-Cochin |
After early breakfast, leave for witnessing “Kalaripayattu” – a martial art form,
at a local training centre.
Thereafter, leave for Cochin (220 kms) visiting enroute
Guruvayoor. Guruvayoor is famous for Sree Krishna Temple, one of famous
pilgrim centres of Kerala. You will also visit Punnathur Kotta where temple
elephants can be seen in good number – approx. 50 at any given time.
Thereafter
proceed to Cochin.
Arrive and checkin at your hotel
Evening, you will be taken to a local
theatre where “Kathakali” is performed.

Breakfast at the hotel. Around 0900 hrs. proceed to visit : Dutch Palace, though
built by the Portuguese, it is popularly known as the Dutch Palace. (closed on
Fridays & National holidays); Jewish Synagogue; St. Francis Church and
Chinese Fishing Nets.
Afternoon is free for personal activities.

Cochin-Munnar |
After breakfast, leave for Munnar (approx. 150 kms).
Arrive and checkin at hotel
Rest of the day either free or spend wandering around the interesting spots.

After breakfast, leave for Eravikulam National Park which is approx. 17 kms
from Munnar, famous for Nilgiri tahr, Lion tailed Macaque, elephant etc.
Thereafter, continue visiting Mattupetti etc.

Munnar-Thekkady |
After breakfast, leave for Thekkady, known as Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary
– approx. 130 kms away.
Arrive and checkin at your hotel.
Afternoon leave for the Sanctuary area
for a boat ride, starting at 1600 hrs., on Periyar lake to view wildlife.
Return to hotel for overnight stay

After breakfast, leave for Kumarakom (approx. 110 kms).
Arrive and checking at hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. You may have a sun-set cruise through the
Lake nearby (complimentary or on payment, depending on the hotel you stay).

Kumarakom-Alleppey Backwaters |
Early in the morning, before breakfast, you may visit the Bird Sanctuary nearby
- it is walking distance from some Resorts here.
Return to hotel for breakfast.
Free until it is time to proceed to Alleppey to board House Boat or popularly known
“Kettuvallom”.
Checkin time is 1230 hrs. and checkout at 0930 hrs. Airconditioning is available in the
rooms only but switched on during night sleeping hours. After lunch the cruising starts and ends around sun-set, allowing
fishermen to spread their nets.
Dinner and overnight on board the boat.

Backwaters-Trivandrum-Kovalam |
Breakfast on boat. Continue cruising until it is time to disembark at 0930 hrs.
Drive down to Trivandrum/Kovalam. On arrival at Trivandrum, do a short tour
of Trivandrum and then proceed to your hotel in Kovalam.
